correct time zone — you may not have taken into account daylight saving time;
correct coordinates — check that latitude and longitude are not mixed up and do not exceed the maximum allowed values in fractional part (max. 59 ');
the same ayanamsha — traditional Lahiri ayanamsha is used by default;
the same system of domification — in the Jyotish tradition, an equal-house system with a cusp in the middle of the sign is used.
There are two views on determining the position of lunar nodes: true positions and mean ones. The true values of the nodes reflect their actual nature of movement, in contrast to the mean ones, where the speed of movement is always taken as constant and negative (retrograde movement). By default, the program on this site uses the true values.
There are three points of view on what counts as sunrise / sunset times:
when the top edge of the sun's disk crosses the horizon;
when the midpoint of the sun's disk crosses the horizon;
when the lower edge of the sun disk crosses the horizon line.
By default, the program uses the position of the middle of the sun disk, which may cause differences of several minutes compared to other software programs or services.
In JMC Calculator the calculations of Vimshottari and Yogini dasas are based on the length of the year equal to the mean sideral solar year = 365.256364 days. This, however, can be changed in the settings.
Make sure this meaning is the same in the astrological software you compare the result with.
There are several versions / schools / paramparas as to what the deities are called in divisional charts and which amsa they govern. JMC Calculator uses deities given in the «Brihat-Parasara-Hora-Shastra».

You can change the setting so that the program determines the winner based on longitude only (the most popular method).
There are several ways to see transits with a map overlay.
